This Ballet & Contemporary class for children in Year 2–4 explores ballet in a relaxed and enjoyable way while building strong dance foundations.
Students learn core ballet technique including posture, alignment, balance and coordination, while also exploring contemporary movement that encourages creativity, fluidity and musicality. Classes combine technical exercises with short choreography so students can apply their skills in a performance context.
As children progress, they are encouraged to concentrate, remember sequences more independently and perform with growing confidence and clarity.
This is a non-exam class, allowing students to develop technique and artistry without the pressure of formal assessments, while still receiving structured, high-quality dance training.
