Commercial Dance & Stretch combines energetic commercial choreography with dedicated flexibility and conditioning to help dancers become stronger, more versatile performers.
Inspired by the styles seen in music videos, live concerts and stage productions, students develop confidence, musicality and performance quality while building the technical foundations needed to execute movement with greater precision and control.
Throughout the class, students will develop:
- Commercial dance technique and performance skills
- Strength, coordination and body control
- Musicality, rhythm and dynamic movement
- Flexibility, mobility and safe stretching techniques
- Confidence, stage presence and performance quality
Each session includes a structured stretch and conditioning section using professional training methods to improve flexibility, strength and range of movement. This supports cleaner lines, higher extensions, safer technique and greater overall control, helping dancers progress confidently in both commercial dance and technical styles.
This class pairs particularly well with RAD Grade 3 and Grade 4 Ballet, providing the strength and flexibility needed to support ballet technique while developing the versatility required of today's performers.
