Our Grade 3 RAD Ballet class is designed for children who have already built a strong foundation in ballet through completing Grade 2 RAD or demonstrating equivalent skills. Please note that placement in this class is based on ability and experience, not age.
Important - if your child wishes to take their grade 3 ballet exams, it is compulsory to attend two ballet classes a week either group or one to one. This is to ensure they receive the training hours recommended by the Royal Academy of Dance and are fully prepared for their exam. Click here to view our Ballet Exam Guide.
In Grade 3, students continue to refine their technique while building greater strength, musicality, and artistry. They work on more complex combinations, develop their performance quality, and begin to explore greater expression through movement. This level supports continued progression through the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus and can lead toward future examinations, if desired.
If your child is new to our school but has ballet experience, we are happy to assess their level to ensure the right class fit.
