Our Grade 4 RAD Ballet class is designed for children who have successfully completed Grade 3 RAD Ballet or can demonstrate an equivalent level of technical ability. Please note that placement in this class is based on ability and experience, not age.
Important - if your child wishes to take their grade 3 ballet exams, it is compulsory to attend two ballet classes a week either group or one to one. This is to ensure they receive the training hours recommended by the Royal Academy of Dance and are fully prepared for their exam. Click here to view our Ballet Exam Guide.
In Grade 4, students build upon their existing technique through more challenging exercises and choreography, developing greater strength, control, musicality and artistry. Dancers refine their classical technique while improving performance quality, coordination and confidence, preparing them for increasingly advanced training within the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus and future examinations.
If your child is new to our school but has previous ballet experience, we are happy to assess their level to ensure they are placed in the most appropriate class.
